Catella Fondförvaltning improves its ranking

Catella Fondförvaltning gained excellent results in a market survey conducted among active, private investors in Sweden. As confirmation of its attractive brand, Catella Fondförvaltning advanced a full 6 percentage points from its position in the previous survey in 2007. The results also reveal a high level of client satisfaction, with Catella Fondförvaltning in second place after Avanza.

The Mutual Fund Monitor Sweden 2009 was completed during the period March - May by Tns Finance, a market survey company. More than 1,000 interviews were conducted with respondents, who were active investors in the 18 - 74 age group in Sweden. In this context, active meant that they actively selected a mutual trust fund during the preceding 12-month period.

The survey outcome for Catella Fondförvaltning (referred to below as Catella) was predominantly positive. Client loyalty to Catella was 60 per cent, indicating that clients will most likely maintain a position in Catella-managed funds, which continued to enjoy a stable 14^th place in the ranking.

In areas such as low-risk funds, hedge funds and Nordic funds, Catella is deemed to be a strong player compared with the overall market. In addition, the results confirm that Catella has a broad range of funds with skilled and active analysts.

"In terms of performance vis-à-vis other funds, the goal is that our funds always perform in the top quartile over a three-year cycle. Catella Reavinstfond - headed by fund manager Mikael Hanell - is ranked as the tenth best fund in terms of management results among a hundred surveyed by Morningstar," says Stefhan Klang, Chief Executive at Catella Fondförvaltning.

As a brand, Catella Fondförvaltning is familiar to the target group, of whom 90.2 per cent indicated their awareness of the brand.
